Working in conjunction with the Byron Bay Boardriders club, Next Level Surf Coaching run weekly high performance squad programs for all members.
2024 Term 3 programs kicks off the week of 19th August offering 6 in water coaching sessions once a week during a period of 6 week block. (pending conditions)
- Byron Bay Boardrider members only
- Weekly surf squad training
- One session a week for 6 weeks running over a 6 week block
- Cost for 6 sessions over a 6 week block starts at $240
- Book by selecting the squad you wish to join
- Max. 8 surfers per squad

- In-water peak positioning and wave selection
- Filmed surfing session with video analysis
- Technique correction
- Competition and heat strategies
- Equipment advice
- Warm up/ surf movement routine
- A copy of all your footage from the squad programme
Squad sessions and times:
- Tuesday PM Advanced Grom Squad: 3:45pm - 5:00pm (20th August 2024)
- Thursday PM Grom Squad B: 3:45pm - 5:00pm (22nd August 2024)
- Friday PM Advanced Grom Squad: 3:45pm - 5:00pm (23rd August 2024)
Please note:
Micro/ Grom Squads A & B are in-water coaching sessions. Sessions consist of assistance negotiating a line up, wave selection & catching techniques with overall in-water guidance.
Advanced Grom sessions are filmed surf coaching sessions. Surfers are in the water unassisted and are expected to have the confidence and knowledge to safely negotiate themselves around a typical line up with the ability to catch 3-4 waves on their own.
Elite Squads sessions are filmed surf coaching sessions. Surfers are in the water unassisted and are expected to have the condidence and knowledge to safely negotiate themselves around a typical line up with the abilty to catch 4-6ft plus waves on their own.
